Process: A predictable process for an unpredictable technology

01. Discovery (30 min)

A half-hour call. You walk us through the business, where the hours go, and what you've already tried. We ask a lot of questions. By the end you'll know whether we can help, what we'd look at first, and roughly what it would cost. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you on the call.

02. Audit (2 weeks)

We come into the operation and watch how the work actually gets done, not how the org chart says it gets done. We sit with your team and follow the busiest workflows end to end. You get a written plan ranked by what each fix is worth: what to automate, what to leave alone, and what order to do it in. The plan is yours to keep, whoever you end up building with.

03. Build (4–10 weeks)

We build the systems from the audit, in the order the plan says. You see progress every week, running on your real data, not in slides. The scope is agreed before we start, and everything we ship is documented plainly enough that your team can run it without us in the room.

04. Operate (Ongoing)

Businesses change, tools update, and systems need looking after. We stay on to maintain what we built, keep tuning it, and pick up the next bottleneck as it shows up. When something breaks, you message the engineer who built it.

Six things you can count on

  • Weekly demos. You see the system running on your own data every week. If we're behind, you see that too.
  • Fixed scope. We agree the scope before we start and hold to it. New ideas go on the list for the next round, which is how the build actually finishes.
  • Plain-language handoff. Every system is documented so your team can run it, fix it, or hand it to someone else.
  • Honest answers. If you don't need us, or someone else would serve you better, we'll say so on the first call.
  • You own the code. Source code, credentials, and documentation are yours from day one. There's nothing to buy back later.
  • Boring on purpose. We pick tools your next hire will already know. The stack should outlive the engagement.
