AI consulting in Cairo, from the team that builds everything we ship.
Nezam AI is an AI consulting firm with people in Toronto, Boston, Cairo, and Dubai, and the same team works across all four, so an Egyptian client works directly with the people who build the system. We design, build, and operate AI systems for developers, brokerages, property managers, and service businesses in Cairo and across Egypt: the phone line, the WhatsApp thread, the CRM, and the back office. You get a number on the first call, our production figures are on this site, and you own the code from day one.
Most of what is sold as AI consulting in Cairo never becomes a system.
Cairo's developers and brokerages run on the phone and on WhatsApp, and the AI pitch they get is a chatbot on the website or a deck. Neither picks up a call after iftar, and neither writes the lead into the CRM. The operators who call us have usually already paid for one of those. The failure modes repeat.
- Proposals that will not name a price, in pounds or in dollars, until the third meeting
- Strategy decks that map the operation in PowerPoint and leave before anything runs
- Pilots that impress in the demo and die on contact with the real phone line and the real WhatsApp threads
- A subscription to someone else's software, marked up and presented as consulting
- Nobody accountable in month four, when the CRM changes an endpoint and the system quietly stops working
What we build.
We are a build firm, not an advisory. The audit decides the order, the build ships in weeks, and everything below is running inside real businesses now, wired into Buildium, AppFolio, Follow Up Boss, HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Slack, and the rest of the stack our clients already pay for. The systems in production today run for Toronto operators. An Egyptian client gets the same engineers, with people on the ground here.
- Voice agents that answer every call. A phone line that picks up on the first ring at any hour, works out what the caller needs, handles it or routes it by your rules, and writes the summary into your systems before the caller hangs up. Built for Arabic and English, and for the caller who uses both in one sentence. Recording is announced up front, which the 2025 data protection rules require. In production today on property management and brokerage lines.
- CRM and follow up automation. Leads from the portals, the landing page, and the phone captured, deduplicated, qualified against your criteria, and chased until they answer or say no, with consent captured before the first message. The follow up discipline stops depending on which agent was busy that week. Running in production for trades operators in Toronto.
- Workflow automation across your stack. The retyping between the CRM, the inbox, the WhatsApp group, and the accounting is a system boundary problem, not a staffing problem. We wire the workflows across the software you already pay for so it behaves like one system instead of four tabs.
- Back office and accounting automation. Reconciliation, categorization, and reporting assembled automatically, with a person approving anything that moves money. Month end shrinks. The approval stays human, on purpose.
- Custom platforms. When the right tool does not exist, we build it: most recently a direct booking platform for a hospitality operator. Custom is the last resort, not the first pitch, and the audit is where we tell you which one you are.
- Search and AI search visibility. Being found in Google and being named by ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity are now two different jobs. We do both in the same engagement, and run this work in production for a Canadian rental platform.
How engagements work, and what they cost.
The model is four steps, and you get the numbers on the free call, because making you sit through a proposal to hear one wastes your time and ours. The bands are the same ones we publish for every market. The full list, with the reasoning behind each band, is in what AI consulting actually costs.
- Discovery. Free, always. 30 minutes. Thirty minutes on what the operation runs on and where the hours go. If the honest answer is that you should not buy anything from us yet, that is the answer you get.
- Audit. Fixed fee, agreed before it starts. 2 weeks. We map how the operation actually runs, find five to ten places where AI takes real work off your team, and hand back a prioritized plan with what each would cost. You own the document and can take it anywhere.
- Build. Fixed fee, quoted against the audit. 4 to 10 weeks. Fixed scope, quoted against the audit. One workflow end to end, or a system that spans your CRM, your accounting, and your phone line.
- Operate. Monthly, cancel any month. Monthly. We run what we built, monitor it, fix what drifts, and ship something new every month. Cancel any month; the code is already yours.
Three honest asterisks. Every system also carries a running cost for the software it sits on, billed to you directly, and we quote it before you sign, not in month four. The audit is where the build price stops being a guess, which is why we sequence it first: what the audit answers. And we are a Canadian firm, so the currency, pounds or dollars, and the paperwork for an Egyptian engagement are settled on the discovery call, before any number on this page becomes a quote.
What we do that this market will not.
Every load bearing claim on this page is checkable: the prices, the production numbers, and the work we turn down.
Almost every firm in this category will not name a number until the third meeting. We put one on it in the first thirty minutes, on the free call, once we know what the work is, and we explain what sets it: a real audit is ten to thirty hours of a senior engineer's time, and you can divide any quote, ours included, by a plausible number of hours and see what you are actually buying. The full price list and the logic behind it are in what AI consulting actually costs.
We publish production figures, and we frame them the way an operator would want them framed. When we say 26 percent of new leads in a two week CRM window arrived through a voice agent, we say it as a share of source, not a lift claim, because there is no pre deployment baseline and pretending otherwise would be marketing. We also say where the figures come from, which is Toronto. A firm that will not show you measured numbers from a running system is asking you to be the first test.
We turn work down, in writing, on every page of this site. Nezam does not take engagements whose purpose is cutting headcount. That refusal costs us deals, which is exactly why it means something: a positioning line that never loses you money is a slogan. It also changes what gets built, because a system designed to take the late calls and the retyping off your team is a different system from one designed to replace them.
And we stay. The standard failure of consulting is that the incentive ends when the invoice clears. Our default engagement shape ends in Operate: we run what we built, monitor it, fix what drifts, and ship something new every month. You own the code from day one, so staying with us is a decision you make again every month, not a lock you signed into. The shape of the whole engagement is in the audit, build, operate model.
Measured, in production, in Toronto.
The figures on this site come from systems we run for a Toronto property management and brokerage operation, and we would rather show you those than invent an Egyptian one. In a June production sample the voice agents answered 277 calls with zero missed, and 74 of those calls came in after hours, the volume a voicemail box used to absorb. In a two week CRM window, 34 of 130 new leads arrived through the voice agent, 26 percent of the total and the second largest lead source in the business, stated as a share of source because there is no pre deployment baseline to claim a lift against. On the brokerage side, 120 of 167 calls ended with an actionable lead captured. How each number was measured is in the impact study.
What is actually different about deploying AI in an Egyptian business.
Not the talent. What is different is the law your systems now operate under, the languages your callers use, and a rent reform that arrives on a schedule. Four things we build for from day one, not as an afterthought:
- The data protection law has teeth now. Law 151 of 2020 sat for five years without executive regulations. They were issued on 1 November 2025, with a Personal Data Protection Centre behind them and a one-year grace period, and they are strict about consent: explicit, specific, recorded, and withdrawable. Recording a call needs the consent of everyone on it. We design the disclosure, the consent record, and the retention period into the first seconds of the call, because retrofitting them later is how systems get switched off.
- Arabic, English, and both in one sentence. A Cairo caller switches languages mid-sentence, a tenant sends a voice note on WhatsApp instead of calling, and a developer's sales floor runs three conversations at once. The agent has to hold both languages, and the record it writes into the CRM has to be readable by whoever picks it up next, in either. We design for that instead of assuming an English call centre.
- The rent law changed in August 2025. Law 164 of 2025 ends the old-rent contracts after a seven-year transition for residential units and five for commercial, with scheduled annual increases in between. For anyone managing property that is years of notices, recalculations, and disputes arriving on a calendar. Automation handles the tracking, the drafting, and the reminders. A person signs every notice, and we build the boundary so the system cannot serve one.
- Where the data lives. Moving personal data across borders now needs a lawful basis and, in many cases, the Centre's permission. Where a client wants data held in country or in region, we architect for it, and where a tool cannot meet that we say so before you buy the tool.
The operator profile we serve is specific too: developers with a sales floor that runs on the phone, brokerages of five to fifty agents, and property managers across New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, and the North Coast, where the owner is still the routing layer. That is who these systems are designed around.
Where we work.
We are not a generalist shop that will learn your industry on your invoice. Our production systems run today in property management, real estate, and the trades, and each page describes how the same builds land in that operation: property management, real estate brokerages, real estate marketing for developers and lease-ups, plumbers, electricians, HVAC companies, law firms, and marketing agencies. The platform pages cover Buildium automation, AppFolio automation, and Yardi automation, and the growth case for all of them is on scale with AI. If your business is none of these but runs on phones, intake, and a stack of software that does not talk to itself, the shape of the work is the same, and the discovery call is free. The full catalogue of what we build sits on our AI automation services hub.
Who this is for.
- Developers and brokerages in Cairo. A sales floor that lives on the phone and on WhatsApp, leads from the portals and the landing page, and a CRM that only some of the agents update. This is where the hours leak first.
- Operations drowning in intake. Property managers, brokerages, and service businesses where the work arrives by phone and inbox faster than the team can route it, and the honest bottleneck is capture, not decisions.
- Businesses that want one accountable partner. You want the firm that scoped it to be the firm that built it to be the firm that answers when it breaks, with people in Cairo who know your account. No handoff to a subcontractor you never met.
- Who we are wrong for. Enterprises that need a transformation program, engagements whose real goal is cutting staff, and businesses where an off the shelf tool at a few thousand pounds a month is the right answer. We tell you the last one on the discovery call, because selling you a build you do not need costs us the referral that was worth more.
Questions, answered straight
What does an AI consultant cost in Cairo? You get the number on the free call, and the way we price is the same in every market we work in. The discovery call is free. The audit is a fixed fee agreed before it starts, a build is a fixed fee quoted against the audit once the work is actually known, tool selection costs less than a build because nothing is written from scratch, and operating what we built is a monthly fee you can cancel any month. Whether an Egyptian engagement is billed in pounds or dollars, and on what paperwork, is confirmed on the call before anything is quoted. The reasoning behind each band is in what AI consulting actually costs. The bands, and how to test them against your own volume, are on the pricing page.
Do you have people in Cairo? Yes. We have people in Cairo, and the same team works across Toronto, Boston, Cairo, and Dubai, so the people who scope, build, and operate your system are the same wherever you are. The firm is headquartered in Toronto. Who does what is on the about page.
Can an AI voice agent legally record calls in Egypt? Yes, with explicit consent from everyone on the call. Egypt's data protection law and its 2025 executive regulations treat a recording as personal data and require consent that is explicit, specific, and recorded, so the agent announces the recording before anything else happens and the consent record, the retention period, and the data map are part of the build rather than a paragraph in the proposal.
Does the agent speak Arabic? It is built for Arabic and English, and for the caller who switches between them mid-sentence. The script, the tone, and the escalation rules are yours, and we test the agent against your real call patterns before it goes live alone. The production figures on this site come from English lines in Toronto, and we say so rather than claim an Arabic number we have not measured.
Do you work outside Cairo? Yes. Cairo is where we can sit in your office, and we take on clients across Egypt remotely. The Gulf side of the practice runs through Dubai and is on AI consulting in Dubai; the Canadian side is on the Toronto page. The builds are wired into cloud software either way; what changes is how often we are physically in the room.
How long until something is live? The audit takes two weeks. Builds run four to ten weeks depending on how many systems they touch, and the phones are usually first because that is where the measurable loss is. We test against your real call patterns and your real data before anything goes live alone, which is slower than a demo and the reason it survives contact with the real operation.
Will this replace my team? No, and we refuse engagements where that is the goal. Nezam does not take on work whose purpose is cutting headcount. AI should give people back their time, not take their jobs, so what we build takes the late calls, the retyping, and the routing off the people you already have. If you want a vendor to help you cut staff, we are the wrong firm, and we would rather tell you here than on the call.
We are a small business. Are you the right fit? Sometimes. Below a certain size the honest answer is a good off the shelf tool, and when that is true we say it on the discovery call and point you at the tool. The threshold question is whether enough hours are leaking to pay back a real build. We wrote the honest version of that math in can a small business afford an AI consultant.
